Five on Friday/Life Catch Up

Happy Saturday!! I haven't been in the blogging groove lately. But I am buckling down and trying to hammer out a few posts tonight.

Here are some of my favourite from the last week or two:

1) Winter Olympics:


I am not as into them as I usually am this time. I think part of it is that I have SO MANY other movies and shows to watch and catch up on, that I am watching those right now. That being said, I did watch some today. I am happy to report that Canada got its first 2 medals today!!! Go, Canada, Go!




2) Sweet Gifts

I was given two gifts in the last week or so at school. A student gave me this scarf, and a teacher gave me this S'Well Bottle.


3) 3 Day Wknd!

It is Family Day Long Wknd this weekend, and we are all excited about it.

Five on Friday (And Happy New Year)!!!

I will post about Christmas and New Year hopefully soon. I thought I would be blogging TONS while I was off, but I guess not. LOL. I hope you all had a great C and NY. Ours was very good. But I will fill you all in on another post. But first...here are my top five faves of/from this last week (I may have a few more than five!)!

1) Double Star Day:

I had my first DSD of 2018 at Starbucks the other day, so of course I **had** to partake! I ordered a Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and it was DELISH!


2) These AMAZING Pies:

On NYE, Anker and I had a nice evening; we ate fun food, and watched two movies, and we also had Key Lime Mini Cheesecakes. Oh.My.Word. It was SO GOOD!!! They were on 2 packages for $8, otherwise, I might not have bought them. I may have to buy them again.

3) New Day Planner:

I bought a new PINK day planner from Wal-Mart the other day, and I really like it. It doesn't have the calendar, only the note pages (which I didn't realize until after I bought it), but I …

Five on Friday!

Happy Thursday night, Friends!!! I hope you are all having a great wk! I am SO happy that it's Thursday!!! We have a 4 day wknd, and for that, I am VERY grateful! Read on to find out what else has me happy!

                                              1) Four Day Wknd:

Need I say more? I am very excited!! Some of my family are going to my cousins wedding on Sunday! I love me a road trip!


                                                                2) Great Finds:

I found some great finds at VV today! I actually had these pair of sandals years back, and I loved them!!! I don't know that I wear them all day at work, but at least I have another pair to wear if and when needed. I found two pairs of Capri's. I know they are kind of ugly, but I figure I might as well wear them, and wear my nice pair at work and events.


3) Back to Blogging/Journalling:
 I seem to be back to blogging. Yay! I also journalled for the first time in ages yesterday! It felt good!!
