It's Friday... But Sunday's a Coming!





I love this, and I share this every year. I am thankful that Jesus died for my sins. I am not enough, but He is!!!

Five on Friday/Life Catch Up

Happy Saturday!! I haven't been in the blogging groove lately. But I am buckling down and trying to hammer out a few posts tonight.

Here are some of my favourite from the last week or two:

1) Winter Olympics:


I am not as into them as I usually am this time. I think part of it is that I have SO MANY other movies and shows to watch and catch up on, that I am watching those right now. That being said, I did watch some today. I am happy to report that Canada got its first 2 medals today!!! Go, Canada, Go!




2) Sweet Gifts

I was given two gifts in the last week or so at school. A student gave me this scarf, and a teacher gave me this S'Well Bottle.


3) 3 Day Wknd!

It is Family Day Long Wknd this weekend, and we are all excited about it.

Randoms/Life Update

Here are some randoms of our lives, and a little life update :)

Our garden is giving us food! There are about 10000 strawberries that we have got from our garden! Anker has made some strawberry/orange jam, and it was SO GOOD! We are also getting zucchini and snap peas. Yum!




Our new neighbours have moved in. They seem nice, and so far, quite quiet. We shall see. The new neighbours to the other side of us seem nice, too...Anker actually talked to them. They like to garden, and were there last wknd putting in some stuff.

There is a fire burning not too far from us. Thankfully, it's not threatening any buildings, and I HOPE that it has been contained, but I am not sure. My friend and I went up the other day to check it out. I actually had no idea that it was even burning until she told me, which is weird, b/c I would have thought I would seen or smelled the smoke. Anyway, none of us are worried....yet :)

Five on Friday (And Happy New Year)!!!

I will post about Christmas and New Year hopefully soon. I thought I would be blogging TONS while I was off, but I guess not. LOL. I hope you all had a great C and NY. Ours was very good. But I will fill you all in on another post. But first...here are my top five faves of/from this last week (I may have a few more than five!)!

1) Double Star Day:

I had my first DSD of 2018 at Starbucks the other day, so of course I **had** to partake! I ordered a Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and it was DELISH!


2) These AMAZING Pies:

On NYE, Anker and I had a nice evening; we ate fun food, and watched two movies, and we also had Key Lime Mini Cheesecakes. Oh.My.Word. It was SO GOOD!!! They were on 2 packages for $8, otherwise, I might not have bought them. I may have to buy them again.

3) New Day Planner:

I bought a new PINK day planner from Wal-Mart the other day, and I really like it. It doesn't have the calendar, only the note pages (which I didn't realize until after I bought it), but I …
