EEEK!!! I haven't done a TToT in, well, FOREVER!!! The last one I did was two TToT's in one, back at the end of December.
So, I am linking up with Liz for the weekly Ten Things of Thankful.
As some of you know, we are in a bit of a rough patch right now. Between work (or lack there of), finances, health issues, etc, I am finding it hard to think of things to be thankful for. Well, not so much hard, as I am really having to find (and be conscious of) things to be thankful for. And now, it looks like our car will need work, too.
Ok, so here we go...
1. New Hair.
I already posted this on Friday, but bear with me, people. Who says duplicate things don't count? I got my hair cut last Tuesday. I love it!!! You can check my other post from Friday for pics.
2. New (to me) Wardrobe.
My friend and neighbour gave me about two garbage bags of clothes. I love them!!! Shirts, sweaters, and even some leggings and bras. I am so stoked!!! I think they look pretty good on me, if I do say so myself.
3, New Job (s).
I am working two (albeit) casual jobs. I love both, but I wish I had more hours. One is in a group home, and one is as a mother's helper.
4. Anker's Good (at least for now) Test Results.
We had no clue what was going on, but Anker has been sick since the new year. There were some markers regarding his liver, and he had another BT and an US, and so far, everything looks good. We are waiting to hear back from a GI specialist (we just can't make them ourselves in Canada), which we hope won't take too long. He also seems to have a bit more energy.
5. Friends.
A friend gave me season 4 of Downton Abbey. Another friend took me to lunch today. Other friends have taken us for supper and lunch, and given us GC's, and cash to help us out. Our Aunt and Uncle have also been lending us some money to help us along (yes, I consider them my friends, too!!!). We are blessed, even if it doesn't feel or look like it at the time.
6. Getting Closer to Spring.
Yah, it's still chilly out, but hey, at least most of the snow on the ground is gone (well, on the cement, anyway). I can't wait until I start seeing grass (actually I have seen a bit..yay).
7. The Friends I have made through Blogging, my FG groups and Games.
Ok, this is similar to #5, but please, give me a break:) I am LOVING all the new friends I have made through Fluff Friends (well, that game is gone, now, but I have kept a lot of friends), and Trainstation, and of course, from Blogging and my FB groups. I am almost thinking that they are my true friends as of late. They are the ones I often go to if I am having a bad day, or whatever. Love you all!
8. Family.
I am really missing my family lately! Esp the little people. I need some serious Skyping time!!
9. Canada Kicked Butt at Sochi.
I am SOOO proud to be Canadian today!! We did well! 25 medals, baby!!! Not mention we took Gold in mens/womens curling and mens/womens hockey!!
10. Favourite Returning Shows.
Amazing Race and The Little Couple are back!!

TToT
Happy Saturday/Sunday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Today was fun, but busy!
I thought I would do my TToT (or at least start on it) tonight.
1. Nail Deco Art.
I got these a few weeks ago when I went to our district sales meeting, and I just now finally tried them on tonight. I thought I did pretty well for someone who has 1) put them on myself and 2) who has never had them on before. EVER.

2. My family and friends that bought coffee and dinner for me today.
We have NO MONEY for nearly another week. True story. I couldn't even buy my mags yesterday. It was a sad day. BUT today, I met up with three different people (for different events) and they all bought me coffee, iced tea and dinner. #thankful
3. I am growing more confident.
In order for me to grow my Avon business (more on that in another post, maybe), I have to be more confidant in asking people if they want brochures, or dropping off my business cards, etc. Today, after meeting with my Avon mentor (and new found friend), I decided to ask two ladies who were sitting at table behind if they wanted an Avon brochure. They both said YES, with enthusiasm:) I am normally not like that. I must be growing up:)
4. We haven't had any snow yet.
I am sure in some parts of B.C have had some (mountains) but we haven't got any. Love BC, and I love where we live!
5. Christmas is less than 2 months away.
I love Christmas. 'Nuff said. And most of my siblings all be together.
6. Awesome (even though they are dated) Shows, like FRIENDS.
There will never be another show like FRIENDS (well, there is usually not another show like another show, but you know what I mean). I love it. I am watching it at night as I go to bed. Love it! I am watching season 3 now. I think my fav is well, I can't even think of who my fav character is. I just love them all! Their lines are classic!! And yes, it is getting dated, but I think that is why I love it all the more.
7. We have awesome parents/friends/mentors/family for sounding boards.
I love having friends, family, parents, mentors that we can go to and ask for advice, or if we have an idea they can be a sounding board. I also love hearing their different ideas and answers/suggestions.
8. My (Little) Nieces and Nephew.
Yes, we actually have two nieces. I miss them all. I can't wait to see them again. I love it when Bebop calls. He and Adam called me ystrdy, but I missed it, so when I called them back, only Adam was around. Oh well...It was awesome talking to him. We usually connect about once a week.
9. My Siblings
This leads me to number 9. I LOVE my siblings! I miss them when I do see or talk to them. My lil brother told me that he love BBT, and we may have to sneak downstairs at Christmas to watch a few episodes:) I got to see my younger brother and his wife for awhile the other day. We had a nice short chat, and he bought me coffee (I am poor, remember?)
10. When I become "friends" with my aunts, uncles, friends mom's. etc.
Tonight at dinner, it struck me (tho not for the first time) on how neat it is to become "friends" with my relatives. It is so neat that ALL my aunts are now married, but tonight as was visiting with one of them at Mom's book launch (more on that in the WS post), that my aunt (among others) is in a way in the same place as me; we talked about s*x and realized that we are both in that place (yes, it had a bit of a yucky factor, but it was still neat). Also my mom's friend was there, and it was to talk to her on an adult level (yes, we have talked before, but I was again struck by that fact). I guess I am growing up!

TToT-Household and Hygiene Products Edition
Since I had to grasp at straws yesterday for FOF, I thought I would do a TToT about household and hygiene products:) I thought it would be a way to keep this fun and new!! And because I don't feel like coming up with 10 new things to be thankful for this week!!
These are my 10 household/hygiene products that I couldn't live without (or at least would find it hard).
1. Toothpaste! Honestly, what would be like without toothpaste? I did try the baking Soda route, and trust me, it is gross. I guess I could live without it, but it would be pretty hard:)
2. Hand Cream. I never used to use it, but lately, I have been using it at least once a day. Love it. I carry the Avon travel size (I have about 4) in my purse, plus I have a few at home that I use. True story.
3. Lip Gloss. Same thing. I have about 5 of these in my purse. I love getting the holiday (Halloween, Christmas, etc) tasting ones. Yummy!
4. Hand Sanitizer. I have the Bath and Body Works brand, and I have about 10 of these. I am trying to use them more, partially because I have so many to use up.
5. Pads/Tampons/Cups. I was reading in a magazine awhile back on how girls in Uganda (and I am sure MANY other parts of the world) don't have access to pads. I can't find the article at the moment, but it is something similar to this. This is something that we women take for granted. We can drive to the corner store and grab one of about 1,000 different kinds of brands. Young girls in Africa don't have access to these, and they often will miss school during their periods. I am so grateful to have FULL ON access to these great products.
6. Toilet Paper. 'Nuff Said.
7. Toothbrushes. Again, something so simple that I am sure most people in third world countries don't have access to.
8. Laundry Detergent. Something so simple and LD is often overlooked in places that have just been through natural disasters. I often think of Tides Loads of Hope (this is the US site, but I am sure there is a Canadian/UK site as well), and all the wonderful things they do for people that have been through floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. As for me, well, it just makes everything smell prettier!
9. Vacuum Cleaner. We may not be the worlds BEST and constant cleaners, but when we do clean, we LOVE (and use) our vacuum. ALL.THE.TIME. We got ours (after the belt went in mine) for about $50 a couple of years ago. Love it.
10. Rubbermaid (or any other type) Bins. I have two that are empty, that should have stuff put in them, but we already have a lot that have stuff stored in them. I think when/if we move next time, we will pack everything in bins.

TToT
I am JUST getting under the wire this wknd for TToT:) I wasn't going to participate in this wk, but since I didn't do it last wk, and I feel that I need to be thankful, that I should post;)
SO....
1. We have the use of this little baby for two weeks.
Our friend is out East, and has asked us if she could park her car in our complex while is away. And for "payment", we get to use it. I thought about texting her to tell her that we had driven it to Vancouver. Twice. But I don't know if she would find that funny. We have enjoyed being a "two car" couple for a couple of weeks.
2. Good TV. Yah, trivial, I know...but hey, I am loving the TV shows this year.
3. I already said this (twice, I think), but it warrants my saying it again. It actually happened last week, but since I didn't do TToT last week, I am posting it now. My hubby FINALLY went to a VERY important meeting that I have been wanting to go to for a few years now. I won`t go into it, but it has to medical/emotional support. He went, and it went well.
4. We went to a Create Happiness Seminar yesterday (it has to do with his appointment), and it was a good/informative meeting. Plus, it was time with hubby.
4. Coffee/popcorn/fudge date with hubby the other day.

We had a blast. Just sayin'.
5. CD's. I bought two CD's this week. WOW Hits 2014, and KU's new one. I love them both!
6. Farm Fresh Corn and eggs.
I got corn and eggs from the farm when I went home last wknd.
7. Solo Starbucks dates, and a good book, and a few mags. There was a bridal shower this afternoon, so instead of going home, and I went had grabbed a bagel and GTL, and read through my new book, and some magazines. Bliss (I also did this on Friday night...I only read mags, though).
This is a good book. Easy and fast/short.
8. Puppies. Yes, it warrants me saying this a THIRD time.
I mean, how cute are they???
9. My Avon stuff (finally!) came in this week! It was the first order in about 2 months. It is like Christmas every two weeks when you're an Avon rep:)
10. Seeing out of town relatives. We met up with my aunt and her new hubby. We had brunch at McD's, and had a nice visit. I also got to see their wedding pictures.
That is all this wk!

TToT #10
Most of this wks TToT will be from yesterdays post, but I wanted to add a few more things.
To be honest, I am finding it hard to be thankful right now. Our power company wants me to pay a security deposit of over $100 (after me being with them for over 7 years), I am frustrated with some people in my life right now...and I didn't get the job that I thought I was going to get. When I left work yesterday, I was in a bit of a fowl mood. I flew off the handle in two groups (one of which I created and managed), and I felt bad about both of them, so I deleted the one in my group and the other was deleted in the other. I was just all round grumpy and tired I called up my neighbour and friend to see if she wanted to grab a drink or a bite to eat. It ended up working out for her, so after grabbing supper at home (perogies and sausages,..yum!), we went to a local pub (read PUB, not bar!) and had drinks and a snack. I had a soft cider...yum!! We went to the mall, and then to Walmart. It was a fun evening, and I felt better afterwards. I went to bed almost as soon as I came home.
So, to add on to yesterdays TToT, here are some extra's.
1. Girls Night (see above).
2. Nectarines. I can't believe they are still around! I grabbed a few last night. I had one in my breakfast this morning.
It looks gross, but it is good. Really. I may have to get a few more after work.
3. My free drink at Starbucks. I used it today instead of yesterday. It is good, as usual.
4. I am in a group called Bloppy Bloggers on FB, and I really like it. I actually left, and then right away came back, because I realised that I really wanted to be in it. I love connecting with other bloggers.
5. Bebop called me last week. It was hysterical:) We "talked" for a few minutes, then we said goodbye, and he called me again (on his own). He cracks me up! I miss them. A lot.
6. I already posted about this yesterday, but I am thankful for "Screamers". I had me one the other day. It was such a lovely day, and I sat out on our greenspace and read and enjoyed the summer treat!
7. Again, I already posted about this, but I am thankful for family. I had fun posting a bunch of pictures on FB (I took pictures of the pictures), from when I was a baby. I was very sick as a baby, and there a lot of pics of me with family members who loved on me. They drove up to 8+ hours (sometimes longer) to see me. Although Mom didn't stay with me like moms would do now when their babies are sick, she did the best she could at that time. A LOT of prayers went up on my behalf.
8. So I guess this leads me into my next TToT...MEMORIES. I also uploaded pics of when I was growing up. I had SO MANY fun memories growing up :) I even uploaded pics from when I was still single and living on my own. Fun times, for sure. It sometimes seems like a life time a go, but I smiled with EVERY picture I put up.
9. This Blog. I love this blog. Yes, I journal, and that where I put stuff I don't want anyone to see, but I love this blog, as a way of allowing people to see what it is like to be an infertile couple.
10. The cooler weather. I am happy that we have been having some cooler weather this week. I am still wearing my Capri's though.
Well, I guess I DID find 10 more things to be thankful for! Whaddya know!!!
Happy Saturday!
Here is another post that I wrote the other day on my thoughts about my life in general.

Thank you always, to Liz for doing this each week, and for allowing me to participate.
I didn't do this last week, as my hubby had my computer (he was working on it), and I didn't feel like doing it on Sunday. I missed not doing it:)

TTOT #9
Happy Saturday/Sunday (wherever you are!!)!
I hope this wknd has been a good one.
I just came back from visiting friend/former co-worker tonight, where I may or may not have had two apple rolls. Yummy! I am also a good fb/blogging friend of her daughter's, so we had fun having her in common as well.
Today, I went to work, and FB'd this morning, and I watched THE HIDING PLACE, which is amazing. I had watched it YEARS ago, and have wanted to watch it again. It is a wonderful movie. I read a couple of magazines that are due to go back to the library. I came home, where hubby had pretty much made supper (ribs, potatoes and corn..yum!), and I had just enough time to call my cousin (who I hadn't called for a month). Then I spent time at my friends house, visiting and catching up. It is odd, we live about 5 minutes from each other, and we NEVER get together; we are both so busy.
Ok, so on to this weeks TTOT:
1. That God always provides for us. I am in constant awe of how God makes our dollars stretch. He provides for everything that we need, and even some things that we want!
2. Impromptu Girls' Night. My neighbour and I have been wanting to get together all summer (same as my other friend), and last night, after work, and going to SBX to grab a PSL, I went over for what I thought would be an hour or two visit, and it turned into an all nighter!! It also turns out that she knows my brother, and when she was younger, she used to get baby lambs from our ranch. Well, anyway, we started watching Bridezilla, and chatted and had tea. We were then wanting ice cream, s off we went into the foggy/rainy night. We were going to go to DQ, but she also wanted to grab a few things from W@lmart, and we decided to grab sundaes in the McD's in WM instead. It was much cheaper and the portions were smaller, too, which was much better all around. We wandered around pretty much the ENTIRE store, and had so much fun!! We got back to her place, and where she finished cleaning her stove, and where I sewed up my new bra (more on that in another post), then we watched BZ again. I went to bed at 1 am!! Other than not being able to sleep, it has been a long time since I have stayed up that late. The evening was great, and I am so glad that I (well, we) made it happen!
3. Cheap PJ's and Movies. While we were at WM, we found $3 PJ's and $5 movies. I got a movie for hubby that I knew that he would like.
4. Fall/Autumn. I LOVE fall. As much as I love summer (and I do), I really do enjoy the seasons changing. Even though I am not a slave to fashion, I do love changing my wardrobe; the boots/shoes, baggy sweaters, scarves, yoga pants, etc. Back to school supplies (I am really sad that I didn't go back to school this year..I LOVE school supplies), I love the rain, the cooler weather. I also love the fall harvest.
5. Fall drinks are back! Starbucks (and other places) have PSL's, Salted Caramel Mocha/Hot Chocolate. I love, love, Love Fall drinks!!! Last night, I sat at SBX drinking my PSL, as it was raining...love the feeling!
6. A Decade of PSL Tumbler, 50% off! Yes, I purchased one. I love it!!! It is very pretty!
7. I am thankful that I live in a country and Province that actually have 4 seasons. Like I said, I love the changing of the seasons. I don't know if I could live in a place where it is hot.all.the time. Think of how boring that it would be if we only had one season?
8. I kind of mentioned this earlier, but fall clothes. I don't do a lot of changing of the wardrobe, and I am certainly not a slave to fashion, but I love the changes of fall fashion. I love scarves, the baggy sweaters, hoodies, and of course, the darker colours.
9. I am thankful for family and friends that "get it", or at least that try to sincerely understand my longing for a baby. I have said this before, but I love themany infertility/pcos/ttc groups that I belong to on FB. I don't go to all of them every day, but I have a few that I go to more often than others. I love the support that I have found online, as well as my RL friends.
10. I am thankful that we live in an awesome Country that has not seen, and has not known war. Like I said above, I watched THE HIDING PLACE, and it amazing! I want to buy it. I think everyone should have a WW2 movie in their movie collection. It will keep you humble. Honest. True Story. Even if you don't have faith or are a Christian, you should watch it. The acting and set design alone is amazing (this was done back in 1977). I am thankful for our freedom. I try to not to take this for granted. I try to thank God every day (or at least recognise) for our freedom; physical, political, spiritual, etc.
Happy Saturday!

5 on Friday/Random Five
Happy Friday! I work today and tomorrow, so Friday isn't a big deal to me right now, but hey, it's still the wknd!!!
I woke up early (for me) and got a few things done before coming into work. Now that I am at work, I can relax, sort of:)
So, here are some Random/5 on Friday facts:
1. If you are my friend on FB, you will notice judging from my statuses, that I haven't had a great week. I just feel really frustrated right now about life, job hunting, etc. I am hoping this week will be different.
2. My lil niece is now officially walking!!! She was nearly walking when we saw her a couple of weeks ago. We are all so proud of her!
3. The Big Bang Season 6 comes out earlier than I thought. It comes out THIS Tuesday!!! Hopefully, C0stco has it for the same price as I got for ssn 5. Speaking of TV shows, I am also into Downton Abbey Season 2. I also may have to buy that series, as well. Season 4 starts in the UK soon. I guess this means that it will air in NA in January?
4. I am really missing my family this week. Everyone is spread here and there, doing their own thing, making things happen. I am glad that I went to school last year, but I still wish that a job would come along that I really would enjoy. I could move (and I have been looking), but I don't think that it would be worth it financially.
5 Fall drinks are back at Starbucks!! Yes, I know. This makes me very happy!!!
I may or may not have gone twice already to grab one:) My fav? Salted Caramel Mocha!
5.1. I didn't blog about them, but I did make some really good Breakfast Cookies the other day. They don't look as good as the ones in the picture (do they ever?), but must say that they turned out pretty well.
I woke up early (for me) and got a few things done before coming into work. Now that I am at work, I can relax, sort of:)
So, here are some Random/5 on Friday facts:

Ten Things of Thankful
I am actually a bit stressed at the moment. Between looking for a job, and hubby wanting to work on a project that I am not 100% behind, and being poor, well, it can make for a stressful week.
I was also in a bit of a mood last week, and I think I offended one of my FB/Blogging friends. Oops! But, like every Saturday for the last, well, I don't know how many I have been doing now, I will find 10 things to thankful, because, well, there is always something to be thankful for!
1. Cheap Dates. Hubby and I went (finally) for the first time to the Kamloops Museum today. It was only $3 each. It was a great time, if only for a short time:) They have three floors; one is a permanent display of the history of Kamloops, and surrounding areas. The second floor is the temporary display, this time they were display mug shots from the Ontario Police. It was ok, but they are going to be bringing the War of 1812, which sounds like a great display. We then went for coffee at McD's, for an equally cheap coffee:) His was free, mine was $1 (yay for $1 drink days this summer!), and we shared a cinnamon pull apart. So, in total it was under $10, plus gas.

Our local (and only) museum.
Cappuccino for him, ice coffee for me, and Pull Aparts to share.
2. Discovering new places. I discovered the Museum (see above) and Home Depot this week. HD was redeemed by the magazines they had, and I looked through them while wandering around after a missing hubby:)
3. Not one, but 3(cheap) dates with hubby this week. I know, right!!! I am one lucky girl!!! Coffee and shopping (the mall for me, and the dollar store for hubby), and coffee at Starbucks on Sunday, Home Depot/ReStore, and coffee on Wednesday, and today's date:)
This was from Wednesdays coffee date. I guess I didn't capture Sunday's coffee date. (FYI, every time Hubby and I do things together, even if it is just running around, I consider that a date.
4. TV Shows. I bought the 5th Season of Big Bang Theory on Monday at C0stco. It was under $20, and I HAD to get it. I also have started watching Downton Abbey. The jury is still out as to whether I like it or not. I have only watched one episode. There seems to be a lot of characters, and I find that it is hard to keep them straight (even the many characters of GA I find to keep track of). That being said, I will watch a few more, and see what I think, and if I should continue the series.
4.1. Local Libraries, so that I could try out new(TV) series, read new books, watch new movies, etc. All without paying a dime.
5. Hubby cooking dinner two nights in a row. 'Nuff said.
6. C0stco. I went there 3 times this week, which is more than I go in a month. I love it there. I love the samples, the cheap drinks, pushing the big cart, showing my card. Oh, and the cheap gas:)
7. That our cable/phone/internet service provider still allows us to have their services despite our being VERY behind in paying them. Why we still have internet at the house is beyond me.
8. Friends! I met up with my church girls friends today for our weekly coffee date today. It has been a long time since I have met up with them since I usually am working Saturdays. We had a nice time together, and we are getting together tomorrow for one of the girls' bdays, too:) So yay, for friends!
9. 4 Day Weekends. With the store being closed until Tuesday, I get a 4 day weekend. Yay!
10. Blog Link Ups/Hops. I love blog hops/link ups! I found a lot to link up with this week. I love "visiting" new friends, and finding new blogs:)
...and that I know how to grab their buttons:)
10.1 Big Bang Date nights:) We are done with SSN 5. That makes me sad. Twice this week, hubby and I had dinner and watched BBT:)
10.2 Cheap coffee for my Friday Ritual. $1.77 for coffee. Can't beat that.
Wow, that actually wasn't that hard at all to think of 10 things:) (plus 3 more!)
Happy Saturday!!!
