Hi. I'm April. I used to have a blog! Anyway, carrying on!

Since Spring Break, and now being in quarantine for for ages, I thought that I would have blogged more than twice, but I just don't seem to be in the blogging space lately! I did go through my nearly 200 blogs that I follow, and deleted a few; and I again, updated my blog with a "fresh cote of paint", in hopes of my getting the "blogging bug"/to get back the inspiration to blog again! What do you do when you lose the inspiration/feeling less inspired to blog? I hope to become and influencer blogger, and IG-er, so, I guess I had better get back into blogging if I hope to achieve that goal!  I went on a few (I mean, A LOT) of my blogging groups that I belong to on FB, in hoping to gain some inspiration, and maybe more followers, ideas, help, etc.

Mother's Day, as some of us know, can be hard. It's not easy to see all the fancy/glossy/photos on Social media, boasting about their kids, or their own mom. Each MD (as I will refer to from now on in this post), I find brings different feelings. Some years, I am complete ok with celebrating (or not), and some years, I find it hard. Some years are super hard. This year was a bit in between all those feelings. With not having a car (more on that in another post), Covid, and not having a routine, yesterday was a bit hard; mostly with feelings of loneliness. I wish that I could have celebrated with my own mom, and I even tried to score an invite to my brother's, but they didn't take the bait..darn! I said this on my IG, and I think it kind of helped me realize that it is ok to have some emotions about this day, but I need to somehow rise above, if even for part of the day, and try to do something for yourself. Whatever you did yesterday, I hope you were able to enjoy it, and were able to celebrate...if even (for) yourself!
